This appeal follows a conviction in a prosecution for violation of federal narcotic laws1 stemming from appellant’s possession of heroin. Appellant contests the constitutionality of the statutory provisions under which he was prosecuted,2 an insanity instruction given by the trial judge,3 and the admission of evidence of his possession of the heroin which underpins the conviction.
