The defendant was found guilty by a jury on an indictment for unlawful possession of a narcotic drug, specifically heroin, with intent to sell. He was sentenced to a term of imprisonment at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Walpole. The case is before us on a substitute bill of exceptions.
