INTRODUCTION

Robert Benson appeals from an order denying his motion for attorney fees and costs from respondent Southern California Auto Sales, Inc. (SCAS), after judgment was entered in his favor on a complaint based on the Consumers Legal Remedies Act (CLRA; Civ. Code, § 1750 et seq.). Under the CLRA, a plaintiff cannot maintain a suit for damages if the defendant made an appropriate and timely correction offer.
