OPINION OF THE COURT
BAKER, Judge:
Pursuant to his pleas, the appellant was convicted by a military judge sitting as a general court-martial of making a false official statement, wrongful use of cocaine, and wrongful appropriation in violation of Articles 107, 112a, and 121, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 907, 912a, and 921 (1988) [hereinafter UCMJ]. Contrary to his pleas, he was also convicted of an additional specification of wrongful appropriation.
