POSNER, Chief Judge.

The defendant, Agustín Ortega, was sentenced to 63 months in prison following his conviction by a jury of aiding and abetting the possession of heroin with intent to distribute it. He had also been charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin but that charge was dismissed after the jury hung on it. There was no inconsistency in the jury’s verdict, since while a conspirator is almost always also an aider and abettor, United States v.
