Appellant Robert L. Plant was injured by some flying debris while watching an auto race at the Northwest Arkansas Speedway. Plant sued Appellees Gary and Linda Wilbur, the owners and operators of the Speedway, alleging that his injuries resulted from their negligence. Appellees countered that Plant had signed an agreement releasing the Speedway from any liability, and therefore he could not maintain a cause of action against them.
