William Lampson, the testator, died February 14, 1897. On the 21st day of December, 1896, less than two months before his death, he executed the will which is the subject of the present controversy. Decedent was a bachelor about fifty-six years old. His nearest relative is an aged aunt residing at St. Paul, Minnesota, and who would be entitled in case of intestacy, or in the event that any bequests should be held invalid, to the entire unwilled personal estate.
