Dhara Gayle Hogg and the law firm of Lynch, Chappell & Alsup, P.C. (LCA) entered into a contingent fee agreement, in which LCA agreed to represent Ms. Hogg in an estate proceeding. A dispute arose' between Ms. Hogg and LCA regarding the validity of the agreement. 'After litigation ensued in both county court and district court over this issue, Ms. Hogg filed a motion to compel arbitration. LCA opposed the motion, claiming that Ms. Hogg had waived her right to seek arbitration by substantially invoking the judicial process to LCA’s detriment. The district court…
