This appeal arises out of an action brought by the plaintiff against the defendant New Britain General Hospital following the hospital’s decision to terminate the plaintiff’s medical staff privileges. The plaintiff sought damages resulting from an alleged breach of contract and negligent infliction of emotional distress as well as injunctive relief in the form of reinstatement of his staff privileges. After a lengthy trial to the court, judgment was rendered for the hospital. The plaintiff now appeals. Although he raises six sep*58arate claims,1 the first five fall under two main headings: (1)…
