Defendant Ishmael Heru-Bey, formerly Jamal Adams, was convicted by a jury in October 2015 of corruptly endeavoring to obstruct and impede the internal-revenue laws. This Court sentenced him in April 2016 to eleven months’ incarceration, followed by twelve months of supervised release, and ordered him to pay restitution of $45,712.
