Bell, Justice.

Paul G-insberg, as trustee in bankruptcy of Brandimist Inc., brought a suit in equity against W. R. Sullivan, to cancel certain mortgages executed by Brandimist Inc., before its bankruptcy, to Sullivan, and covering described personal property, 'and to avoid a sale of such property made by the defendant to himself under a power of sale, and also to recover the alleged value of the property for the benefit of creditors of the bankrupt.
