The defendants, the zoning board of appeals of the town of Prospect (board), Domenic Moschella, the chairperson of the board, and Maryann C. Anderson, the town clerk of Prospect, appeal from the judgment of the trial court sustaining the appeal of the plaintiff, Peter Sydoriak, from the board’s decision denying him a variance and remanding the matter to the board for it to impose reasonable conditions, if appropriate, to protect the health and safety of the town’s citizens.
