SCHALLER, J.
The plaintiff, Paul J. Garlasco, appeals from the judgment of the trial court dismissing his appeal from the decision of the defendant, the zoning board of appeals of the town of Bridgewater (board), denying his application for a variance. On appeal, the plaintiff claims that the court improperly (1) concluded that he had failed to establish a hardship and (2) abused its discretion by failing to consider additional evidence. We disagree and affirm the judgment of the trial court.
