EVERETT, Chief Judge:

Appellant was tried by a general court-martial composed of officer members at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, on February 26 and March 2-4, 1982. Contrary to his pleas, he was convicted of sodomy with a child under the age of 16, in violation of Article 125, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 925. The court-martial sentenced LeMere to a dishonorable discharge, confinement for 12 years, forfeiture of $450.00 pay per month for 144 months, and reduction to Private E-l.
