OPINION
ENSLEN, District Judge.
This action was filed on February 24, 1984, by a group of thirty-seven (37) migrant farm workers, consisting of twenty-eight (28) adults and nine (9) minors, claiming violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”), 29 U.S.C. §§ 201-19, and the Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act (“MSAWPA” or the “Act”), 29 U.S.C. §§ 1801-72. The defendants are a husband and wife couple doing business as Mattner Farms, a farming operation located in Eau Claire, Berrien County, Michigan, that they jointly own and operate.
