This was an action by the appellee to enforce a mechanic’s lien. The material allegations in the complaint are, that during the month of November, 1872, Robert Alexander and Benjamin Whitsett were partners, and as such were engaged in the construction of an engine house, on part of lot 110, of the city of Crawfordsville, under a contract with the appellant, who was the owner of the part of the lot upon which they were erecting the building; that on the 7th day of November, of that year, and on other days between that time and including the 14th day of the same month, the appellee furnished to…
