Plaintiff Judicial Watch (“plaintiff’) filed this action against the United States Department of Justice (“defendant” or “DOJ”) on September 5, 2013, challenging DOJ’s denial of plaintiffs request for records pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. § 552. See Complaint (“Compl.”) [Dkt. # 1]. Now before the Court are the parties’ cross-motions for summary judgment.
