This interlocutory transfer without ruling from the Superior Court (Bean, J.) presents the question whether the employer of an independent contractor is liable to an employee of that independent contractor for injuries the employee suffered as a result of the independent contractor’s negligent performance of inherently dangerous work. The defendant argues that our decisions regarding vicarious liability protect it.
