On January 8, 1927, in the city court of East St. Louis, Elsie Black, the appellee herein, secured a verdict against the appellant awarding to her the sum of $2,000 as damages for personal injuries sustained by her, resulting, as she alleges, from the negligence of appellant. Counsel for appellee most earnestly insist that there is no assignment of errors written in or attached to the record of the trial court as is required by the rules of this court; also, that the abstract of the record, filed by appellant, is not a complete abstract of the record and does not fully comply with the rules…
