The plaintiff filed a complaint in state court on July 9, 1985, alleging in Count I that, prior to June 28, 1985, it furnished materials and labor for the launching, outfitting, repair, and construction of the vessel WARRIOR, and in Count II that, subsequent to the sinking of the WARRIOR on June 28, 1985, it furnished materials and labor in connection with the salvage and repair of the WARRIOR. Plaintiff asserted liens on the WARRIOR totaling $36,-340.67,. pursuant to the Maine Ship Lien Act, Me.Rev.Stat.Ann. tit. 10, §§ 3851-3869, and demanded that its…
