We granted the application for a writ of certiorari filed by Petitioners-Appellants Muriel Y. Hashimoto and Susan M. Hashimo-to, as Trustees of the Living Trust of Gerald S. Hashimoto and Muriel Y. Hashimoto (the Hashimoto trustees), and Susan M. Hashimo-to (Susan) individually (collectively the Hash-imotos), to review the decision of the Intermediate Court of Appeals (ICA) in Fong v.
