GLADIS, Senior Judge:

The accused was convicted pursuant to his pleas at a special court-martial composed of officer members of three unauthorized absences totalling 80 days, assault on a superior petty officer, simple assault, and being drunk and disorderly, in violation of Articles 86, 91, 128, and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. §§ 886, 891, 928, and 934. He was sen-*621fenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement at hard labor for 3 months, forfeiture of $290.00 per month for 3 months, and reduction to pay grade E-l.
