OLIVER, Judge:

A general court-martial composed of officer members convicted the appellant, contrary to his pleas, of four specifications of wrongful distribution of methamphetamine and two specifications of wrongful use of methamphetamine, in violation of Article 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 912a (1994)[hereinafter UCMJ]. The court sentenced him to confinement for 10 years, total forfeiture of all pay and allowances, reduction to pay grade E-l, and a dishonorable discharge.
