In the dispositive question presented in this appeal, we are asked whether the trial court had jurisdiction to award damages to a workers’ compensation claimant based on the conduct of the appellants, a third-party adjuster and the adjuster’s employer, in allegedly delaying the claimant’s spinal surgery. When preauthorization for the surgery was initially requested, it was denied as medically unnecessary.
