This was an action brought by J. H. Hucklebridge against the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway Company to recover damages for *507causing the former’s cattle to become infected with Texas fever while under shipment in the latter’s cars on its line of railway. A verdict and judgment were rendered for the plaintiff, to reverse which error has been prosecuted' to this court.
