CAIRNS, Senior Judge:

At a fully contested general court-martial, a panel of officer and enlisted members convicted the appellant of violating a lawful general regulation, premeditated murder, aggravated assault, and willful and wrongful discharge of a firearm under such circumstances as to endanger human life, in violation of Articles 92, 118, 128, and 134, Uni*575form Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 892, 918, 928, and 934 [hereinafter UCMJ].
