OPINION OF THE COURT

CAIRNS, Senior Judge:

A general court-martial composed of officer and enlisted members convicted the appellant, contrary to his pleas, of rape (two specifications), forcible sodomy, consensual sodomy, assault consummated by a battery, and adultery (three specifications), in violation of Articles 120, 125, 128, and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 920, 925, 928, and 934 [hereinafter UCMJ].
