These consolidated appeals involve suits against the City and County of San Francisco, San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (“MUNI”), and various individual defendants (collectively, “Defendants”) for race and national origin discrimination in violation of 42 U.S.C. §§ 1981, 1983, 1985 & 1986. Plaintiffs allege that Defendants discriminated against them by giving preferential hiring treatment to Asian and Filipino workers.
