The appeal in this case is from the judgment of the trial court rendered upon the verdict of a jury in an action of replevin, involving the ownership and right to possession of one brown mule, of the value of $150. The plaintiff below claimed to own the mule and to be entitled to his immediate possession; that it had been wrongfully seized and sold under execution, although it was exempt from execution sale under the law.
