Todd Robison, a logging truck driver, appeals the trial court’s grant of summary judgment to Cascade Hardwoods, Inc. Robison sued Cascade for damages from severe internal injuries caused by an extreme electrical shock while operating Cascade’s trailer loader apparatus at Cascade’s lumber mill. Robison argues that summary judgment was improper because (1) under the doctrine of res ipsa loquitur, ordinarily such an electrical shock would not occur absent negligence; and (2) the only reasonably possible source of the electricity was under Cascade’s exclusive control.
