Nichols v. Brunswick
U.S. Circuit Court for the District of Maine
At law.
1Opinion of the Court
CLIFFORD, Circuit Justice.
Judgment was ordered in favor of the plaintiff at a previous day in the term, for $900 and costs of suit. [Case No. 10.238.] Since that time the costs have been taxed, and the taxation presented to the clerk for approval. Plaintiff, being the prevailing party, claimed that he was entitled to tax travel and attendance, according to the uniform practice of the court. Defendants object to those items in. the taxation, and, after hearing the parties, the clerk disallowed the same, and the plaintiff appealed to the court.
