Insurance Company of North America (INA) appeals a summary judgment holding it liable under a 1982 indemnity bond (1982 bond) for claims filed against Kaiser Steel Corporation (Kaiser), a self-insuring coal mine operator now in bankruptcy. See United States v. Insurance Co. of N. Am., 881 F.Supp. 1 (D.D.C.1995).
