In 1939, by means of a trust deed, the J. M. Perry Institute of Trade,. Industry and Agriculture was created to establish, maintain, and endow an institution to provide technical training for specified vocations. The trust instrument requires the trustees to keep full and correct accounts, to direct an audit of their accounts at the end of each fiscal year, and to publish a condensed general statement of the condition of the assets of the trust immediately thereafter in a local newspaper.
