HILL, Chief Justice.

[T1] Appellant, Timothy John deShazer (deShazer), appeals from the judgment and sentence, adjudicating him to be guilty of the crimes of attempted kidnapping, 1 aggravated assault and battery, 2 and aggravated burglary. 3 He was sentenced to a term of 8 to 15 years on the kidnapping conviction, 5 to 8 years on the aggravated assault and battery, and 10 to 20 years on the aggravated burglary. The sentences were to be served consecutive to one another.
