Defendants appeal from a verdict and judgment awarded plaintiff in an action for personal injuries sustained in an automobile collision. The accident occurred at night on N. W. Cornell Road in Washington county. Plaintiff had been driving her car easterly on the road and was attempting a left turn into an unlighted parking lot. There was testimony that her vehicle’s left turn signal was on. While she was in the approximate center of the road her car was struck from the rear by a police car driven by defendant Wiss, a *248deputy sheriff for Washington county.
