OPINION
MANNHEIMER, Judge.
Johnny L. Waters was arrested for burglarizing the community store in Shungnak and stealing approximately $16,000 from the store’s safe. After spending a night in custody, Waters confessed to these crimes. He was subsequently convicted of second-degree burglary, second-degree theft, and second-degree criminal mischief. 1
