Appellees, Michael and Cathy Jackson, sued appellants for $1,200.00, which they alleged was due them on their contract to paint appellants’ house. The trial court awarded appellees judgment for this amount together with $1,500.00 in attorney’s fees after finding appellants had not proved their defense of accord and satisfaction. On appeal, appellants claim that the trial court erred in not holding that appellees’ acceptance of appellants’ check of $460.50 operated as an accord and satisfaction of their claim against appellants.
