This matter comes before the court on petition for review of the order of the referee in bankruptcy making allowances from the estate to the trustee and to the attorney for the trustee, and to attorneys for certain creditors of the bankrupt, and which order was made at the final meeting of creditors, and on the settlement of the accounts of the trustee in bankruptcy, May 20, 1905.

1Opinion of the Court

RAY, District Judge.

This was an involuntary proceeding, but adjudication was made without contest, and the matter referred to a referee. At the very beginning of the proceeding, H. Walter Lee, subsequently chosen trustee, was appointed receiver. He was an attorney at law of the Supreme Court of the state of New York, and also admitted to practice in the District Court of the United States. Frederick H. Hazard was the attorney for the petitioning creditors, and filed the petition, procured the appointment of the *276receiver and his qualification, etc. It seems from the affidavits that said…
