In this vigorously fought and acrimonious litigation, where a plaintiff alleges that she was the victim of a major fraud perpetrated by a religious organization and its leader, the court has conducted numerous conferences. The court’s purpose has been to guide the litigation to an orderly resolution or conclusion. Yet, the experience of this litigation has shown that the court’s directives on discovery have been flouted.
