Plaintiff, Deborah A. Butler, was hired by defendant law firm, Sherman, Silver-stein & Kohl, P.C., and employed from September 3, 1987 to October 12, 1987, at which time she was terminated. Plaintiff is an African-American who contends that her termination was racially motivated.
