On June 18, 2012, plaintiff Ronald S. Boster brought this action under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. §§ 1001 et seq., to recover benefits he claims are due under an employee short term disability insurance plan (“Plan”) established and maintained by his former employer, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (“PCAOB”), and issued by Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company (“Reliance”).
