I. INTRODUCTION
On January 8, 2007, plaintiff Susan Shoemaker (“plaintiff’) filed this suit against defendants Chelcie and Stacey McConnell (collectively, “defendants”) alleging personal injuries resulting from an automobile accident that occurred on or about March 30, 2006. (D.I. 1 at ¶ 1) Plaintiff asserts that the negligent driving of defendant Chelcie McConnell proximately caused the accident.
