Appellant was indicted for one count of aggravated promotion of prostitution (Count I) and four counts of engaging in organized criminal activity (Counts II-IV). The State proceeded to trial on Count II of the indictment. The jury found Appellant guilty, and the trial court sentenced Appellant in accordance with the jury’s assessed punishment of 16 years’ confinement and a $10,000 fine.
