Plaintiffs Tom and Emily Couch filed this products liability action in New Mexico state court in February 1998, against Defendants Astee Industries, Inc., Southwest Crane, Inc., and Joseph Williams. In their complaint, Plaintiffs seek damages as a result of injuries Mr. Couch suffered while operating a “defectively designed, manufactured, assembled, and installed” asphalt manufacturing machine.
