The various complainants in this case instituted separate suits in the chancery court at Knoxville, which were afterwards consolidated, for the purpose of recovering balances due upon contracts. for the construction of certain buildings and the addition of improvements to others, in Chilhowee Park for the National Conservation Exposition Company. The lands upon which the buildings and improvements were made are the property of the railway and light company, and are owned and used by it for park purposes.
