OPINION AND ORDER

CONNER, District Judge.

Robert Bryant, currently incarcerated in the Green Haven Correctional Facility, petitions this Court for a writ of ha beas corpus. On April 2, 1971 he was sentenced by Justice Francis J. Bloustein of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Bronx County, to a term of twenty years to life after a jury trial in which he was convicted of murder and manslaughter.
