In this action plaintiff, a building contractor, seeks “a general judgment” for $7,399.-79 with interest from July 21,1949, for labor and materials furnished in “remodeling, alteration and improvement” of the 4-family flat at 5024 Chippewa in St. Louis, and enforcement of such judgment under the mechanics’ and materialmen’s lien statutes.
