SELYA, Circuit Judge.
After determining that the United States Postal Service (the Service) wrongfully discharged Thomas Lussier because of his post-traumatic stress disorder, the district court made an award that included future damages, sometimes called “front pay.” Both parties consider the award to be a dead letter. Their cross-appeals pose two kinds of questions.
