By the Court:

A special grand jury of the Corporation Court of the city of Roanoke made a report on the 29th of March, 1911, tending to show misfeasance, malfeasance, and gross neglect of official duty *467on the part of Joel H. Cutchin, as mayor of the city of Roanoke, and recommending to the court that such proceedings be had as are provided by law for his removal from said office; and thereupon the court summoned Joel H. Cutchin, mayor as aforesaid, to appear before the corporation court on Monday, the 24th day of April, 1911, to show cause why he should not be removed from the said office of…
