RUIZ, Associate Judge.
Mark Ball appeals from his conviction of unlawful possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance in violation of D.C.Code § 33 — 541(a)(1) (1993), on the ground that the trial court should have granted his motion to suppress physical evidence — drugs and $953 in cash — found during a search following his arrest. Ball pled guilty, reserving the right to appeal the denial of his motion to suppress evidence for lack of probable cause.
